Melody 'N Her Muse shows appreciation to the spirit of the Black Woman. The Black Woman is recognized as a strong and courageous figure within the African- American culture. While she may stand strong, she falls weak at times. However, the Black Woman will never allow herself to sulk in her own weakness. She is self- motivated to find other avenues in order to gain her strength back, usually with music.
In the year 1964, Malcolm X, respectfully, recognized the Black Woman as ‘the most disrespected, the most unprotected, and the most neglected’ person in America as he spoke amongst a group of black women.
