The design of Swift features heavy wood-burn. The burning technique is done in a ‘wave’ motion that is continuous around majority of the fedora. On 2/1/1960, the Greensboro sit- in began. Four African- American college students decided to at a 'whites- only' lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina. They were denied service yet refused to leave the establishment. This isolated incident created a domino effect and sparked a wave of sit-ins across southern states. Eventually, segregation of lunch counters ended in July of that same year.
